Metro’s Parks and Nature department seeks collaborative and creative thinkers who are passionate about supporting the work to conserve fish and wildlife habitat and create an equitable region for all. The department manages over 18,000 acres of voter-protected land across the greater Portland region, from expansive forests and sensitive wetlands to beloved nature parks, and the real estate team plays a key role in the conservation of these special places. This talented team is comprised of members who specialize in a variety of areas, such as real estate acquisition, real property management, farmland stewardship, construction project management, facilities maintenance, and database development. We are looking for a team coordinator who can use their organizational skills and passion for process improvement to help support and manage the work that we do.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, public administration, or a closely related field, AND
- Two years of relevant experience; OR
- We will consider any combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
