Energy Trader

This is a multi-level position (Energy Trader/Sr. Energy Trader) with level placement dependent upon the skills and experience of the candidate. Trading and risk management of our wholesale energy portfolio, including physical and financial products, options and basis related instruments. Develop and implement term-trading strategies that support the direction provided by the Managing Director. Execute delivery and risk mitigation strategies that will enhance term asset value.

Required:

- Bachelor's degree in business, math, economics or directly applicable equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a physical and financial commodity trading.
- Must possess strong analytical capabilities and be extremely detail oriented and diligent in monitoring open risk positions; be able to analyze, dissect and assist in valuation of complex energy transaction; have detailed knowledge of fundamentals associated with energy commodity and transportation markets.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a team player; understand and operate within company policies and procedures, risk management and corporate guidelines and maintain and apply working knowledge of Standards for Business Controls and meet management's expectations for effective internal business controls.
